Kitchen Porter
Permanent Position

Permanent, full-time position, based working 40 hours over any 5 out of 7 days per week. Start date to be as soon as possible.

Salary £22,984 per annum, plus benefits
Location: Islington (London)

 

We are looking for a brilliant Kitchen Porter to join our team. The Kitchen Porter ensures that the kitchen is clean and tidy and maintained to high standards. The Kitchen Porter assists with the smooth running of the kitchen and food preparation, to provide excellent service to our patrons.  

Responsibilities include:

  • General cleaning and tidying duties of the storage area each week
  • Collection of food deliveries and putting these away to relevant storage areas
  • Assisting with food preparation
  • Receiving deliveries and organising them in the kitchen
  • Washing dirty dishes using the dishwasher   

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working within a kitchen environment, the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and be an excellent team player. You must also currently hold the right in the UK and be available to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
