Full time position
We are looking for an experienced Building Services Manager to join the facilities team at Sadler’s Wells and to bring enthusiasm and vision to future plans for the organisation.
Sadler’s
Wells Theatre comprises a main auditorium with a capacity of 1,500 seats, a
studio theatre (180 seats), plus rehearsals studios and additional facilities.
We also present work at the Peacock Theatre in the West End (1000 seats). We
are now in the process of building a fourth venue in Queen
Elizabeth Olympic Park. The Building Services
Manager will join the in-house team involved in the planning process
as the build develops, with the venue opening in 2022.
You will be responsible for
managing and driving improvements to hard facilities for an internationally
renowned arts venue, whilst leading the Building Services team. This
is an exciting opportunity to be part of the organisation’s growth and support
a fantastic visitor experience for our guests at all our venues.
You
will have demonstrable
technical knowledge of wide ranging building services with a good grounding in
hard facilities support, compliance, health and safety, and team building. You should be highly organised with excellent
interpersonal skills and have proven ability to lead and work collaboratively
across a complex organisation to deliver results.
