General Manager, Breakin' Convention
Founded
by Jonzi D, Breakin’ Convention is at the vanguard of the global development of
the hip hop theatre genre. Our new General Manager will manage its team and
lead the implementation of Jonzi D's vision.
We
play a pivotal role through our international festivals, professional
development programmes for dancers and emcees, and engagement projects with
young people. The next five years will see the strategic planning and delivery
of a new cultural centre for hip hop which will be part of Sadler's Wells’ new
venue in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford.
The
ideal candidate will be experienced in management, financial and organisational
development and will play a key role in taking Breakin’ Convention through this
exciting period of growth. If you have a keen interest in hip hop culture, a
solid understanding of funding, advocacy and business, and would like to be part
of this pioneering team, then we want to hear from you.
